We created a custom slot car racing experience for NHL and NBA fans at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, blending game-day energy with Ford innovation.
Participants controlled 3D-printed Ford slot cars as they raced around a custom-built track. At each kiosk, players answered Ford-themed trivia questions – correct answers triggered performance boosts, while wrong ones slowed their car, all via a responsive software and electronics system.
The experience ran throughout the season, giving fans a reason to return, compete, and connect with Ford in a way that was fast, fun, and memorably hands-on.
Created for the 2024 Audi Circuit, this generative interactive art installation gave users the ability to visualize the exhilaration of Audi with a touch of their finger.
A custom software application read the pulse of the user and created a swirling mass of stars and colours, with each unique pulse reading creating a different pattern of lights and colours for each test drive participant.
The Montreal F1 was the perfect stage for Audi to host VIPs and showcase the power and precision of its Audi Sport lineup.
Guests arrived at the Audi VIPier and were invited to explore. Flanking each car, touchscreen kiosks delivered interactive, educational content, allowing guests to dive deeper into Audi’s innovation story.
At the heart of the experience, a large LED screen wrapped in a custom shroud offered a captivating ‘surprise and delight’ moment. As guests moved nearby, the screen’s dynamic tiles reacted with motion – flipping through three unique visual states and bringing the installation to life with kinetic energy.
3M wanted to elevate their presence at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and build a suite of beautiful and interactive assets that could be repurposed for years to come.
wonderMakr built out the entire meeting suite with an immersive room, interactive video wall, product turn table and touchscreen desk.
The meeting suite hosted a range of discussions with partners, displayed new products and innovations and resulted in deeper engagements with visitors and exceeded the KPI’s the team had set for CES.
Showcasing the revolutionary concepts of quantum computing and physics in a simplified way, this highly interactive and modular exhibition used a combination of aesthetics, visual language, and graphic integration to educate visitors. wonderMakr worked with local experts to conceptualize and develop the interactive demonstrations.
The challenge faced was to provide a unique experience into the mechanics of quantum physics in an understandable format for all audiences, even children.
This was a 4,000 sq. ft fully mobile exhibit that traveled across Canada.
wonderMakr was thrilled to help transform Humber College’s IT Tech Zone into a dynamic, interactive space. The redesign opened up a previously closed-off corridor, improving accessibility and engagement. Taking inspiration from the classic video game Snake, we engineered a seamless, flowing design and, created an immersive and visually striking environment.
Complementing the Tech Zone, we designed an interactive feature wall to enhance a previously unused expanse of space. This installation integrates full RGB LED lighting that reacts to movement, cycling through themed patterns to reflect the changing seasons and events throughout the year.
This custom installation celebrates the legacy of the Esso Medals of Achievement program, a cornerstone of Canadian youth hockey for over 40 years.
Visitors can search for their name, either online or at the exhibit itself, prompting the display to animate through a stunning sequence of Esso medals before landing on their personalized recognition.
The interface highlighted each recipient’s award with elegance and emotional weight, holding on the moment long enough to create a meaningful photo opportunity in one of hockey’s most iconic venues.
A celebration of achievement, memory, and national hockey culture, brought to life through interactive storytelling and timeless design.
To bring Holt Renfrew’s holiday vision to life, we engineered custom-built train sets and mechanized elements for a whimsical nationwide window campaign.
Designed for continuous motion and durability, each train wound through meticulously crafted scenes as motorized doors revealed moments of magic and delight.
Installed across flagship locations, these dynamic displays transformed Holt Renfrew’s windows into living storybooks, capturing passersby’s imagination and elevating the seasonal shopping experience.
A seamless blend of storytelling, engineering, and holiday enchantment, scaled across Canada’s most iconic retail stages.
National French Fry Day has become something of an annual celebration for fry lovers everywhere, and to celebrate, we worked with McDonald’s to create a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for french fry lovers to proclaim their love from the top of a mountain via a massive, mock drive-thru installation and Facebook livestream.
Fry fans submitted videos of themselves screaming out their fry love via Instagram, Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #NationalFrenchFryDay.
Dubbeded the “Friestream,” the campaign saw over 800,000 livestream views, 40 million media impressions, and pushed the McD’s app to #1 in the iOS app store.
As the centerpiece of Cadillac Fairview’s holiday campaign, Love Lights was a breathtaking kinetic light sculpture featuring 484 individually programmable lights, suspended to create a glowing canopy of motion and magic.
Activated by groups of six standing on interactive pads, guests triggered a series of animated light sequences choreographed with directional sound, transforming passive observation into collective participation.
The impact? Double-digit growth in social engagement, foot traffic, and average spend across participating CF properties, making Love Lights as powerful in performance as it was in presence.
